MULTI SPORT BIKE BOOST ( POWER⚡WEEKEND HR❤️) [8WK]
ABILITY: MALE AGE GROUP / PODIUM
WEEKDAYS: POWER / INDOOR TRAINER WEEKEND: POWER / OUTDOOR BIKE
YOU
Very competitive MALE/OPEN triathlete, under 45 y/old. Serious about boosting bike power. Front of AG wave or better - podium expectations. You use an indoor trainer with power for indoor workouts. You DON'T use power for outdoor rides
CONTENT
Three fully-explained and jargon-free structured power workouts a week, focussing on building power and strength on the bike. Having three sessions allows integration into other training. Aquabike, aquathlon and duathlon athletes can download free additional Tabata VO2 sessions (Fri / Sun). Early week has male/open specific critical power workouts (very taxing max effort) with midweek cross threshold intervals to really challenge staying power. Weekends feature easier rides with hill intervals one week or challenging flat intervals the next, building race specificity, strength, climbing ability and easy power.
Female multisport bikers should download the equivalent female CP boost that reflects their physiology
Benchmark tests included, with full video or guide assistance. All specific workout calculators

Very competitive, strong and injury free triathletes / strong bike leg riders looking to push on. You probably cycle 3-4 times a week and have good power. You are committed to your sport. You want to extract the best bike performance you can for your racing

Power equipped indoor trainer. A quality HR recording device for longer outdoor rides (preferably with chest strap). Sophisticated Critical Power, HR threshold and FTP tests are included week one. Workouts download direct to your bike computer and watch

TIMING
Any time. To prep for qualifiers, national champs or country AG representation at Worlds or Europeans. You will have a good endurance training block completed
