Plan Description

So you've decided to try your hand at a sprint distance triathlon! Whether you're stepping up from a super-sprint, or jumping in straight to this distance then this is the plan for you!

8 weeks of gentle progression, prehabilitation work and secure development...

A base level of fitness is required to get the most out of it, we recommend you be able to:
- Swim 300m in one go at the pool (short breaks are ok at the end of every few lengths).
- Cycle continuously for 10km or 30 minutes, whichever is first.
- Run or walk for 20 minutes continuously (approximately 2.5-3km).

It's a plan with no huge increases in volume, but a steady approach to improvements. Building the foundations ready for the future whether this is the only event, or if it's a stepping stone to olympic distance events or more!
