OFF SEASON TRAINING PLAN 2020 // OLYMPIC DISTANCE // 28 WEEKS // INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED athlete
This plan is for the Olympic Triathlon distance athlete that had their 2020 season cancelled due to COVID-19.
You gained some fitness before the cancellations, you want to build on that for the 2021 season, but without the huge training loads of full on race training. This plan is for you! Monthly fitness tests. Ways to track your development. Dry land workouts if you do not have access to pools or open water. Capitalize on what you got in for 2020 and smash 2021!
Please see our terms, definitions and sample workouts page for more insight to our plans.
If this plan doesn't exactly fit your life schedule, please contact us and we can advise on personalized plans as well.
Before starting the plan, you must be relatively fit, injury free and with no health concerns. Consult with your doctor before starting any training plan.
All run and bike workouts have been built within TrainingPeaks to be Garmin sync compatible.
All workouts have a PDF of the workout attached to save or print.
