Plan Description

The advanced programme is for the athlete who either is completing this distance for the experienced athlete and is confident in their abilities and is looking to maximise their potential for the Middle/Half distance. This programme will allow any athlete to complete their training and Middle Distance Triathlon safely, healthily and confidently. It must be said that this programme is for the serious athlete who is looking to commit both their time and effort to ensuring they maximise the benefits of this programme. You should have a good level of experience and completed a number of triathlons at a good level within the sport.

Without completely overwhelming you the amount of training hours within this programme is achievable if broken down and good time management is developed. This programme will ensure to develop your physical abilities in all three disciplines, maxmising your potential for a good, strong outcome come race day!

Depending on your current ability, you should look to complete a minimum of eight - ten hours a week of exercise for four to six weeks before starting this programme.
