Plan Overview: This program is for the high-performance athlete chasing a Personal Best or a Boston Qualifier. With a peak volume of 110-135km per week, this plan leaves nothing to chance. We utilize an aggressive polarized approach that demands discipline in both intensity and recovery. Crucially, this plan refuses to neglect power; the integrated strength sessions are non-negotiable, ensuring that your skeletal system can handle the high impact of 7-9 runs per week while converting your fitness into raw speed on race day.

  • 🏃 Elite Volume & Frequency: A demanding schedule of 7-9 runs per week, utilizing strategic "Doubles" to maximize mitochondrial density and aerobic capacity.

  • 🏋️ Power & Resilience: 2 mandatory full-body gym sessions to maintain structural integrity under high load and improve Running Economy (energy cost of running).

  • ⏱️ Precision Intensity: Complex workouts mixing VO2max intervals and extensive Lactate Threshold work to optimize your body's fuel clearing mechanisms.

  • 🔋 Specific Endurance: Long runs that blend pure endurance with extended Marathon Pace blocks, teaching your body to burn fat efficiently at high speeds.

  • 🏆 Race Ready: Incorporates 2-3 aggressive Tune-up races (8-15km) to harden your mind and validate your pacing strategy before tapering for London.
