Plan Description

This is a 20-week marathon training plan designed for intermediate and advanced triathletes. This plan will focus on running but will incorporate some swimming and biking as cross training. You will run an average of 4 days week, have two bike sessions and a swim once a week.

Most weeks will have a session every day - sometimes even two. Rest days are optional - active recovery is strongly encouraged. Majority of sessions will be duration based.

This plan is for a Sunday race-day.

Requirements:

- The ability to run 90 minutes straight, ride for an hour and swim for 2000 yards/meters.
- A smart trainer and the ability to load workouts into a cycling program
- A pool (25 yard or 25 meters would be optimal)

No communication with a coach or strength/mobility work is included.
