Stop Trading Your Time for Fatigue

Most 10K plans are built on the "more is better" fallacy. They bury you in junk miles that look good on a Strava map but do nothing for your lactate threshold. You end up tired and plateaued. You end up wondering why your race times haven't moved in years despite following the plan.

My approach is different. We don't train to be tired. We train to be fast. This plan is built for the runner who understands that intensity creates the result, while recovery allows the result to happen.

The 10 Week Progression

  • Phase 1 (Week 1 to 4): Structural Integrity. We establish your current benchmarks and build the aerobic capacity needed to handle the upcoming speed work.
  • Phase 2 (Week 5 to 8): Threshold Expansion. This is the engine room. We focus on extending the duration you can hold your target race pace.
  • Phase 3 (Week 9 to 10): Physiological Super-compensation. We drop the fatigue and keep the "snap" in your legs so you arrive at the start line ready to execute.


The Efficiency Gap

Most runners get stuck in 'The Grey Zone.' They run their easy days too hard to recover and their hard days too slow to improve. This plan forces you out of that middle ground. If a session doesn't have a specific physiological purpose, it is not in the plan. We prioritize the 20 percent of work that delivers 80 percent of your race-day speed.
