Plan Description

Most advanced runners plateau because they run too much moderate volume and not enough specific intensity. You are fit, but you are flat. This 8 week block replaces the moderate effort trap with targeted pace sessions. We are not training to get tired: we are training to build a faster engine.
The logic is simple: we prioritize sessions that move the needle. We lift your lactate threshold so race pace feels like a choice, not a frantic survival mission. No fluff, no filler, just the work required to shift your 10K time.

The 8 Week High Intent Progression

- Phase 2 (Weeks 5 to 8): Progressive Peaking. We increase the intensity with race specific intervals and tempo work, ending with a sharp taper for maximum race day pop.
