10–15K MOUNTAIN RUNNING PLAN - NOVICE – 10 WEEKS OF TRAIL FLOW & RESILIENCE
You’ve taken a giant step towards discovering the wild joy of trail running! This plan is about more than just climbing mountains — it’s about building strength, resilience, and confidence while learning to flow with the terrain. Over the next 10 weeks, you’ll progress steadily, explore rhythm in your breath and stride, and arrive at race day ready to embrace the challenge of 10–15K on the trails. This isn’t just training — it’s an adventure into nature, grit, and your untapped potential.
INCLUDED
This 10-week mountain running plan is designed for novice runners who are stepping into trail races or longer distances with curiosity and courage.
Runs per week: 3–5 sessions. Rate of Perceived Exertion - RPE Based - (option to create your Training Zones and monitor your intensity using both Heart Rate/ Pace and RPE.)
Starting distance: 6 kms
Builds up to 14 kms on steep mountain terrain
Workouts include:
– Run Training Workouts: Hills, Speed & Endurance
– Technique Skills (video/audio)
– Mental Training Tools
– Running Specific Strength Training Plan (Phase 1 Endurance)
– Flexibility Training
