Plan Description

"SwimFit" was born out of real‑life necessity. After a long hiatus from long‑distance swimming, I realised I needed to rebuild my own technique, confidence, and fitness before diving into my next ultra‑swim block. I didn’t just need to get fit - I needed to get "SwimFit". So I designed these sessions to do exactly that.

This 15‑session programme is built around three swims per week, with sessions up to 2500 metres. It’s intentionally structured so you can combine it with any other training you’re doing. Across the block, you’ll rebuild your feel for the water, sharpen your stroke mechanics, and steadily increase your aerobic strength — all without overwhelming your schedule.


Each session includes clear technique guidance with simple progressions, and fun, engaging descriptions that make the work feel lighter. With lots of training, you need a sense of humour! You’ll also get helpful drill videos to support your form and keep things easy to follow.

Whether you’re returning after a break, rebuilding consistency, or preparing for a bigger goal, SwimFit gives you the structure, variety, and confidence boost you need to get back in the groove, returning fitter, smoother, and stronger with every session.
