Plan Description

This training programme will help you prepare for a Sprint Distance Triathlon. Within this programme you will swim a variety of distances. The variety of distances in this training programme will develop your fitness by improving your endurance, technique, speed, which will ultimately enhance your performance and making you a faster, more robust athlete. The instructions provided in this plan will help you focus each workout on the particular sets that are most important for short course races. Helping develop you into the athlete you want to be! Fitter, faster and stronger!!

Required:
This plan is intended for athletes who have a goal to swim 400-500m in a sprint distance race, or for those that want to develop their swimming technique, speed and endurance. It would be helpful if you have previous swimming experience and a ability to swim 1km. This is not a learn to swim program although there is plenty of drill work to help you develop technique.
