A small, grassroots western Colorado high-desert ride
Wild Horse Gravel crosses private ranch roads through Book Cliffs canyon country, open rangeland, and high-desert mesas. The course starts at 5,250 feet and averages around 6,500 feet above sea level.
This 5 to 9 hours a week plan makes an honest triage of the remaining time. It prioritizes durable endurance, steady climbing, and tested food and fluid routines for a remote course with minimal aid stations. The goal is a more prepared start without forcing an unrealistic last-minute workload.

Hey! I'm Matti - also known as the Gravel God himself!
If you're into gravel racing and want to be as fast as possible, you had better choose me!
Why?
Because I'm the fastest, least talented person to ever ride a bike. I've made every mistake in the book so you don't have to and I'm here to save you years of failure and struggle.
When I'm not helping my athletes get faster on a bike I write obvious, overlooked training content that makes cycling training easy to understand.
