Bend's multisport high-desert festival
Near Bend, Oregon, the gravel course follows exposed high-desert roads over volcanic soil and cinder. It belongs to a multi-discipline festival with separate mountain bike and trail-running events; singletrack is part of the mountain bike course, not the gravel route.
Across twelve weeks at 9–13 hours a week, this plan trains firm, repeatable climbing without turning every effort into a test. Longer sessions rehearse a quick, controlled change from early climbing to composed descending, with smooth riding after the main work and consistent drinking under sun exposure.
INSIDE THE COMPETE PLAN — 9–13 HR/WK

Hey! I'm Matti - also known as the Gravel God himself!
If you're into gravel racing and want to be as fast as possible, you had better choose me!
Why?
Because I'm the fastest, least talented person to ever ride a bike. I've made every mistake in the book so you don't have to and I'm here to save you years of failure and struggle.
When I'm not helping my athletes get faster on a bike I write obvious, overlooked training content that makes cycling training easy to understand.
