Plan Description

This plan focussed on your Maximal Aerobic Power (MAP) as well as your ability to perform repeated efforts.

MAP efforts are important ones to include in our training, as working at this intensity is one of the pathways that we activate the gene expression PGC-1alpha. This in turn improves our mitochondrial biogenesis and our ability to perform aerobically.

This plan also includes lower intensity longer duration work to target the calcium pathway to signal PGC-1alpha as well as improving our endurance capacity. The combination of the two will really boost your fitness and endurance.

This plan is ideal for those looking to get faster at those pursuit style efforts, improve their capacity to reduce power after hours of riding, and also improve aerobic endurance capacity
