I have worked with many riders to help achieve their goals, be it Olympic qualification, National Titles, wins, podiums, turning professional, or improving their fitness and enjoyment on the bike.
All training plans are bespoke for each athlete on an individualised basis. No two athletes are the same, so why should their training be?
I have been coaching athletes since 2017 as well as competing as a UK Elite rider for 8 seasons and a UCI professional for 3. I now coach full time alongside working as a Performance Consultant. Along with a 1st class Honours degree in Sports and Exercise Sciences, Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, and working across multiple fields of Sports and Exercise Sciences, I have a great combination of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and in-depth understanding of athlete mindset and experience across the board.
Additional experience involves working as part of the Wahoo Sports Science team for several years, coaching and DSing for a World Tour Junior development team, and being a performance consultant for the Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub Wind Tunnel. I also write for multiple magazines covering coaching and sports science topics.
I have coached athletes to Olympic Games and World Championships, multiple National Titles, wins at National and UCI level, as well as helping riders achieve new peaks in performance from amateur to professional level.
In addition to focussing on performance, I ensure that we maintain rider health and enjoyment as well as long term wellness. I take a holistic view with training that what you do on the bike should be supported by work off the bike, S&C, nutrition, equipment optimisation for the best value, and athlete wellbeing.
