Plan Description

Did you recently peak for your big event? Take a mid-season break? Want to build back fitness so your legs feeling super strong in a few months? Would you like to learn how to customize your training to you?
This is way more than just another training plan. It's part of the system I developed to help cyclists customize their training themselves, step-by-step. Over the course of this plan, you'll build serious fitness back into your legs, and learn the system. But just a warning - once you learn the system, your whole approach to training might change. Once you understand how to tailor your own training to you, it's hard to go back to your old ways of doing things. There's an old saying "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish, feed him for a lifetime". This is what this plan is all about.
Quick backstory:
When I first started training with a power meter, I got tired of purchasing plans that didn't work for me. They were either too hard, too easy, or didn't fit my schedule. And when I got off track, I felt lost and wished I had some guidance. Apps didn’t do it for me either.
This frustration led me to hiring a coach. That worked great, but still didn’t solve my larger problem. I had no idea how to train without outside help. I had a long-term vision in progressing in the sport over the coming years, but no clear strategy for how to do that on my own.
Fast forward to today. My obsession with training eventually led to coaching. I had to invest an inordinate amount of time and effort into education. And then I spent even more time (years) dialing in a process to make planning simple, straight forward, and effective. I know that not everyone has the luxury to put this much time into it.
I see my old self in so many cyclists out there. You’re self-reliant, want to get faster, want to see what you can do with the time you have, you’re trying to figure things out with the help of youtube, forums, blogs, and comment sections. It’s still hard to get solid answers.
OK, that's the back story. Now back to this particular plan, SUMMER RESET.
Most of my plans are 1 block templates that last 4 weeks. This one is a little different. It's 2 months. I mix and match various aspects of my block templates so that you can build all-around fitness faster than the first part of your season. In the first part of your season, you may have been building fitness from the beginning. If you recently peaked, there's no need to start over. We can build you back to peak fitness relatively quickly.
Here’s how it works.
1. When you purchase this plan, you'll see a note on day 1 that says "ATP and Cheat Sheet Download". Download that ATP. You'll need this tool to help customize this plan. It also includes an assortment of tools, including a cheat sheet and example seasons.
2. In the plan, you'll also see a note that says "Customization Instructions". Follow these written instructions if you wish to customize. Note that you may follow the plan as-is. The plan is designed for a cyclist with a CTL of 55, and assumes your CTL was recently above 70.
3. In the ATP, you'll also see a sheet that says "Instructions". Here you'll find links to 3 video tutorials (totaling 90 minutes). In these videos, I walk you through (step-by-step), how to customize plans to you. You don't need to watch these, but they provide a lot more depth into my system. There's a ton of information in them.
Ready to give it a shot? Your legs will feel really good when this plan is over. And you'll be exposed to a whole new method for training. You have not seen this anywhere before.
