About the Cyclocross Summer Base Training Plan
This is designed for cyclocross racers who want to prep for a great CX season over the summer months. This plan builds your consistency and fitness. It gets you ready for specific work ahead of cross season by increasing volume.
This plan is best started in in May/June to be ready for more specific Cyclocross work in late Aug/Sept ahead of race season when cyclocross races start to take up more weekends.
Is This Cyclocross Training Plan For You?
This plan requires 5-12+ hours with a few long weekend 'big adventures'. There are many opportunities to extend or shorten workouts to customize to your interest, availability and ability.
