May 17th, 2025: Lookout Mountain Challenge

Took up a challenge against my buddy, Garston, right in our backyard. First, a run up Chimney Gulch: steep, sweaty, and a real lung-buster. Then we switched gears and biked up Lookout Mountain, just to make sure our legs got the full treatment.

The deal? Loser covers tee time at Fossil Trace and lunch for the fam. Good fun, plenty of laughs, and classic Golden views all the way.

Garston is more of a runner, and he was expecting to put a 6-7 minutes on me during the run. But he only put on a minute on me (thanks to my 4 minutes and 30 seconds PR!). Of course, I almost puked.

May 7th, 2025

After work, I headed over to Apex, lucky enough to have it right in my backyard, for a solid hour-long workout. Meanwhile, my wife picked up our son from school, and I asked her to swing by with him so we could hit the trails together. The timing worked out perfectly!

I was stoked to see him, of course, and we jumped right into shredding some trails. It was a bit of a workout pulling him up the hill with the leash, but totally worth it to watch him sending it on the way down. He even took a spill once, but no tears, just dusted himself off and kept riding. Proud dad moment.

After all, if you’re not crashing, you’re not trying hard enough, right?

February 10th, 2025 (Skiing)

Skiing is one of the main reasons why we live in Colorado, it has become my favorite winter sport because it makes me feel happy and free. Being out in the backcountry with friends gives me a new perspective on life – it can be fragile, but boy it’s fun when you’re surrounded by good friends, stunning views, and fresh powder. Now, my main focus is getting better at it so I can keep up with my son, Mateo, who’s already shredding trees at just 3 years old!

February 1st, 2025 (Golf Video)

I’m passionate about golf because it allows me to work on aspects I don’t focus on in other sports, especially the mental game. I love getting out there, hiking the course, and soaking in the game’s beauty. It’s a sport full of camaraderie and good times, and that’s what makes it so special to me.
