Plan Description

Welcome to the Horsepower Coaching Ultimate Winter Training Plan.

This plan has been designed to give you the best winter preparation possible to allow you to step forward into 2026 as a stronger athlete.

Our key focus points are;

- Create a thinking athlete. Give you the experience and tools to look past the numbers and feel into the sensations around training to enable you to make better training decisions going forward.

- Improve your aerobic function through quality aerobic development work.

- Improve your form & efficiency across your chosen disciplines.

The plan has been arranged in the most optimal way in terms of session order in relation to rest days. It may be this does not fit with your work or life so if you want/need to move things around, feel free.

If you do want to move things around, ensure you are not training for more than 3 days consecutively and you are not stacking intensity days back to back.
