Plan Description

This plan is very challenging. The first 3 weeks we will increase your VO2max, followed by a recovery week.
The next 3 weeks we will work on your threshold power. This is followed by another recovery week.

It is advisable to do an FTP test before the plan (5min and 20 min test) and after the last recovery week.

It is important to provide all units with sufficient carbohydrates. The LIT units with at least 60g/h, the hard units with at least 90g/h.

Always listen to how your body feels. Set the intensity at the lower end of the range and increase. If the intervals are too hard or you simply can't take any more, end the session in the LIT range.
