Plan Description
This plan is devised to build strength, speed, technique, and general fitness during the off season. It is intended for athletes of all abilities and levels. The plan is progressive and periodized. The first weeks will be to develop consistency in following a plan and developing general endurance fitness, as well as testing to establish Training Zones, either Heart Rate or Power based. I would recommend that all athletes using this plan have and use, at a minimum, a GPS watch with Heart Rate feature, and indoor bicycle trainer, and speed/cadence sensor on their bicycle. Power Meters and "Smart Trainers" are encouraged but not absolutely necessary.
