Cross your first triathlon finish line. This 8-week sprint plan takes you from your current fitness to a confident 750m swim, 12.4-mile bike, and 3.1-mile run - no experience required.
Who it's for: first-time triathletes. Before you start, you should be able to swim about 400m (short rests are fine), ride a bike comfortably for 30 minutes, and jog or run/walk 2 miles.
What you get: 6 days per week of fully structured workouts with named steps and exact intensity targets that sync straight to Zwift, Garmin, and your other devices. Weekly brick sessions so race-day transitions feel familiar, a full race-simulation rehearsal in week 7, and a short taper so you arrive fresh. The plan builds progressively with a cutback week in the middle so your body absorbs the work. Key sessions include coach notes on why the workout matters, how it should feel, and what to do if you miss a day - plus a race-day checklist and pacing plan. All you need is a bike, pool access, and running shoes.
You're putting in the work, but something isn't clicking - same pace, a nagging injury, or a plan that doesn't fit your life. I build training around you: your fitness, your schedule, your goals. I'm Bryce Beckstrand - 15 years racing everything from 5Ks to a full Ironman, still racing, and I never ask you to do something I'm not doing too.
