Is an ALL ABILITY triathlon plan for SPRINT AND SUPERSPRINT distance.

RPE You train on 'feel'. Just add bike, run shoes and swim kit ☺️

ABILITY

'ALL ABILITY' means you're reasonably fit all arounder. You may be a good athlete at one of the triathlon sports, or another or you're fit from the gym or Hyrox, or maybe you're already training 4-6 times a week and just want a race proven structured approach to your training from one of the best training and multisport racing organisations in the world. CONTENT

Av 3-6 hrs over 7+ workouts/week. Usually 2 (3) swim, 3 bike and 3 run

Fresh, different, highly rated and current. Many sessions pro-derived and scaled for those new to triathlon. With just 12 weeks to go we assume a level of fitness already, albeit not high. Get fit as you go. Faster shorter work early and mid week boosts your motivation and resolve and lets you get sessions done in the working week when you're time poor. Longer sessions are over the Saturday and Sunday and you get a rest day every week, plus some easier days so you don't over do it. You might need a turbo trainer mid week for your bike workouts, but it's not necessary, you can do out on the road if safe or a gym bike

Weekends introduce 'wrap and fill' sessions for both run and bike- easy endurance efforts wrapped around the filling of harder shorter intervals so you build endurance and speed. Pre race-day you'll complete some combined bike and run bricks to get you used to the 'jelly legs' feel. Plans feature a 1wk taper, full downloadable self directed S&C, PLUS free access to the world's most comprehensive endurance racing and training content. You also get a number of alternate open water sessions should you want to practice your swimming outside, and some handy swim sessions for you to take to the pool anytime. Both run and swim workouts allow time to build technique with drills that are clearly explained, plus you get access to our YouTube swim masterclass series
