Plan Description
This 8-week Sprint Triathlon training plan is designed for motivated triathletes preparing for a sprint-distance race who want structured, detailed workouts across swim, bike, and run. It is best suited for athletes who have prior experience in all three disciplines and can commit to consistent training throughout the week.
The plan includes multiple swims, bikes, and runs each week, with clearly prescribed sessions including intervals, effort targets, and brick workouts. Swimming sessions are guided by effort (RPE), while cycling and running are structured using intensity-based prescriptions appropriate for sprint-distance racing.
This is a self-guided plan and does not include direct coach communication. Athletes are expected to manage scheduling, recovery, and minor adjustments as needed. A basic understanding of triathlon training and transitions is recommended but not required.
