Are you ready to take on your first sprint triathlon in Austin? The CapTex Tri Sprint Distance is one of the most exciting urban races in the U.S.—a thrilling 750m swim in Lady Bird Lake, a 12.3-mile bike ride through the heart of downtown Austin, and a 3.1-mile run along the city’s buzzing streets.

If you’re new to triathlon, it’s normal to feel both excited and overwhelmed. That’s why we created the Beginner 12-Week CapTex Sprint (Rookie)Triathlon Training Plan—a proven system designed specifically for first-time triathletes who want to show up confident, prepared, and race-day ready.
