Sprint-distance racing leaves almost no margin.
22 weeks. Sprint distance triathlon. Built for experienced racers chasing a time or a placing.
A pacing misjudgement in the first two minutes of the bike or run costs more than any amount of fitness can recover.
How This Plan WorksSwim sessions use RPE and pace. Bike sessions are structured by power, giving a precise and repeatable effort target regardless of conditions. Run sessions use running power for a terrain-independent measure of effort.
Sprint preparation is about precision under load. The plan builds aerobic durability first, then layers in the capacity to hold near-maximal effort across three short, fast disciplines. Strength work supports the intensity rather than being dropped for it.
Is This Plan For You?This plan is built for a particular kind of athlete.- Experienced racers working towards a specific time or placing
- Athletes with an established aerobic base who want to sharpen execution and pacing discipline
Before you start: you should be comfortable swimming 800m, riding 45 minutes and running 30 minutes. Not all on the same day.
What's Included- Email support from the coach who built the plan, for the duration of the plan
- 22-week self-guided training programme delivered through TrainingPeaks
- Structured workouts that sync to your Garmin, Wahoo, or compatible device
- Not the right fit? I will swap it for another plan, any time, no quibble
About the CoachI came to triathlon after an elite Tae-Kwon-Do career, national titles and a European silver among them. I knew how to train hard. What I found when I moved to triathlon was fifteen years of following proven plans, hiring expert coaches, and racing worse for it. I hit a wall. Not a physical one. An architectural one.
Sense Endurance Coaching was built to kill that cycle.
I'm Trisutto and 80/20 Endurance certified, and worked with Brett Sutton through his Coach the Coach programme.
That shaped how I build training: no junk miles, no grey zone, sessions built around the hours an athlete actually has rather than the idealised week that never happens in practice.
