A 10-week sprint triathlon plan for athletes preparing to race well with pool-based swimming.
This plan is for athletes who already have a base in all three sports and want a structured build towards a sprint-distance race. The programme develops swim technique and fitness in the pool, bike strength, running economy and the ability to move smoothly from bike to run.
You will train with purpose across the week, but the sessions are there to make you more prepared, not simply more tired. Recovery and lighter weeks are part of the process.
Written in the way we coach at TCC Endurance: practical, progressive and honest.
