This is less a plan and more a collection of examples of bike to run brick sessions to help you understand how to incorporate them into your training.
We tend to introduce brick sessions in our athletes' plans around February time (we're UK based). They become the main tempo run set of their week because we find if a brick session doesn't have a clear and key purpose, they don't get done!
In short, it is the run session that drives the build and the bike, which is intended to be performed on an indoor trainer, is chosen to compliment the run.
You will see that a consistent element is the brick run always starts with 3-minutes of easy running. The purpose of this is to help you develop the discipline you need at the start of the run in a triathlon. During transition, your heart rate goes through the roof. It's essential you get that back under control before you can think about hitting pace targets.
Hope they help!
