The plan gradually builds the endurance, confidence, and skills needed to successfully complete the 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run while introducing the key principles of triathlon training in a manageable and sustainable way.
If you have a basic fitness foundation and are ready to commit to consistent training, this plan provides a clear roadmap from preparation to race day.

Requirements
To start this plan, you should be able to:
• Swim at least 200–800 meters continuously
• Ride comfortably for 30–60 minutes
• Run continuously for 15–30 minutes
• Train consistently 3–5 days per week
• Have a basic understanding of swimming, cycling, and running fundamentals
A GPS watch and heart rate monitor are recommended. A bike power meter can be helpful but is not required.
