Is This Plan For You?
This 16-week Olympic Distance Maintenance Phase plan by GA Endurance is designed for triathletes who want to maintain fitness, preserve endurance, and stay consistent between race-specific training cycles.
Rather than focusing on peak performance, this plan emphasizes aerobic maintenance, technical development, and long-term durability while keeping overall training stress manageable. It is ideal for athletes who already have an established fitness base and want to remain prepared for future racing goals.
Whether you are between race seasons, returning from a major event, or preparing for a future build phase, this plan provides a structured and sustainable approach to maintaining performance.

• The ability to ride comfortably for 90–120 minutes
• The ability to run continuously for 45–60 minutes
• A consistent training routine across swim, bike, and run disciplines

Final Note
This plan is designed to help you maintain the fitness you have already worked hard to build while avoiding the demands of a full race-preparation cycle.
