Olympic distance is fast enough to punish sloppy pacing and long enough to expose a weak aerobic base.
22 weeks. Olympic distance triathlon. Built for athletes who have raced the distance before.
It demands both.
How This Plan WorksSwim sessions use RPE and pace. Bike sessions are structured by power, giving a precise and repeatable effort target regardless of conditions. Run sessions use heart rate to regulate effort and keep the easy work genuinely easy.
Each discipline feeds the next. Aerobic durability underpins the pace, and controlled intensity sharpens race-specific demands. Hard sessions are placed deliberately, with recovery that lets them actually land. Strength work is built in throughout the block.
Is This Plan For You?This plan is built for a particular kind of athlete.- Athletes who have raced the distance before and want more structure than a previous build gave them
- Athletes targeting the specific weaknesses that usually cost time on race day
Before you start: you should be comfortable swimming 1,000m, riding 60 minutes and running 40 minutes. Not all on the same day.
What's Included- Email support from the coach who built the plan, for the duration of the plan
- 22-week self-guided training programme delivered through TrainingPeaks
- Structured workouts that sync to your Garmin, Wahoo, or compatible device
- Not the right fit? I will swap it for another plan, any time, no quibble
About the CoachI came to triathlon after an elite Tae-Kwon-Do career, national titles and a European silver among them. I knew how to train hard. What I found when I moved to triathlon was fifteen years of following proven plans, hiring expert coaches, and racing worse for it. I hit a wall. Not a physical one. An architectural one.
Sense Endurance Coaching was built to kill that cycle.
I'm Trisutto and 80/20 Endurance certified, and worked with Brett Sutton through his Coach the Coach programme.
That shaped how I build training: no junk miles, no grey zone, sessions built around the hours an athlete actually has rather than the idealised week that never happens in practice.
