Plan Description

This plan is best for athletes who are new to triathlon and are tackling their first olympic distance race. Athletes should be able to swim 1000 yards/meters freestyle, ride for 90 minutes and run 5k prior to starting this plan. The focus of this plan is to build the steady aerobic engine to complete an olympic distance triathlon This plan is to an establish a baseline Olympic distance result to build from and not PR this distance. The athlete should have a gps based sports watch and an external heart rate monitor and a cycling power meter.
