A 12-week Olympic-distance triathlon plan for athletes stepping up to the distance with a solid base in swim, bike and run.
This plan is for you if you can already swim continuously for around 45-60 minutes, ride for 60-90 minutes and run for about an hour. From there, we build the endurance, skills and confidence needed to complete a strong Olympic-distance race.
Training develops swim technique, bike strength and running resilience, with brick sessions and recovery included so the work builds rather than simply accumulates. It is structured enough to give you direction, but practical enough to work around a normal week.
Written in the way we coach at TCC Endurance: practical, progressive and honest.
