Plan Description



ENSO's Catalyst programmes are designed to help you concentrate on a single triathlon discipline, while still maintaining your fitness in the other two. Typically, these Catalyst programmes are repeated over a four-week training block, after which you can seamlessly return to your regular training schedule or triathlon routine.
This approach works especially well during the off-season, but it can also be integrated at any point throughout the year. It’s ideal if you want to focus on a specific discipline or address a particular area for a short period. For example, during race season, you might complete a major race, take some time to recover, and then embark on a Catalyst programme before resuming your regular triathlon training.

Catalyst programmes are a great way to sharpen your skills, build strength, and give yourself a targeted boost, whether it’s in swimming, cycling, or running.

This Catalyst Programme is designed with the understanding that participants already have a basic level of fitness, have been training regularly, are free from injuries, and can comfortably meet the following requirements:

• Swimming: You should be able to swim 1500 metres continuously.
• Cycling: You should be able to cycle for 90 minutes without needing a break.
• Running: You should be able to run for 60 minutes non-stop.

This programme aims to build on your current fitness foundation, helping you to progress confidently and effectively.
