Plan Description

If you want to take on your first full distance triathlon but have minimal experience in swimming, cycling or running,, this plan written by British Triathlon High Performing Coach and IRONMAN Certified Coach Simon Olney is for you.

If you can swim a single length of the pool run for one minute and ride a bike for 30 minutes, this plan will get you race ready in 50 weeks. This is plan is for those who have been inspired by an event, but have no idea where to start.

As well as including swim, cycle and run workouts, this plan also includes strength and conditioning workouts to help improve performance and reduce the risk of injury.

You will require a watch that records heart rate, as well as basic triathlon equipment to follow this plan. I highly recommend you purchase an indoor trainer to get the most out of this plan.

You will also receive a copy of two additional resources, my Triathlon Training Guide, as well as my TrainingPeaks for Triathletes course. Covering swimming technique, nutrition, injury management and more, these will help you follow the plan without frustration or confusion. Ensuring you complete your workouts with confidence and set yourself up to achieve your goals.
