This 48-week Full Distance Beginner plan by GA Endurance is designed for individuals new to long-distance triathlon who want a complete, safe, and progressive journey toward finishing an Ironman.

It is ideal for athletes with limited experience in swim, bike, or run who are ready to commit to a long-term process and build endurance step by step through a structured system.

If you are looking for a gradual, supportive roadmap that takes you from your current level to the Ironman finish line, this plan provides a clear, comprehensive pathway.

Requirements

To start this plan, you should be able to:

• Swim at least 200–500 meters (with rest as needed)

• Ride comfortably for 60–90 minutes

• Run or walk for 20–30 minutes

• Train consistently 3–4 days per week (progressing over time)

• Be ready to follow a long-term and gradual training progression

A GPS watch is helpful, and a heart rate monitor is recommended for better intensity control.
