If you're targeting the Sir Bani Yas Island Full Distance Triathlon in Abu Dhabi, our 44-Week Competitive Intermediate Full Distance Triathlon Training Plan is built to prepare you for the unique demands of this spectacular race.

🌊 SWIM – Calm, Cool, and Confident
The 3.8KM swim in the protected southeast waters of the Arabian Gulf offers calm conditions and mild temperatures (18–22°C). Our training includes progressive open-water simulation sessions and technique-focused swim drills, preparing you to stay efficient and relaxed from the first stroke to T1.

🚴 BIKE – Fast Flats with Power Climbs
The 180KM course features smooth, flat terrain but challenges your climbing legs with rolling connectors rising to 100m. We prepare you with long endurance rides, threshold intervals, and strength-focused cycling blocks to handle both speed and elevation. Structured power- and heart-rate-based sessions simulate the island’s terrain and test your pacing strategies.

🏃 RUN – Brick Strong, Race Ready
After cycling in wind-sheltered heat, you’ll need strong, fatigue-resistant legs. Our plan features progressive brick workouts, run form drills, and heat adaptation strategies to help you manage intensity and finish strong—right down to the final stride on race day.
