The Full Distance Triathlon Western Australia is a remarkable challenge: a calm, two-lap 3.8KM swim from Busselton Foreshore, a fast, flat 180KM bike course through scenic coastal and forest terrain, and a four-lap, mostly flat marathon run along Geographe Bay featuring the iconic Busselton Jetty.

Our evidence-based Full Distance Triathlon training plan is expertly designed to prepare you specifically for this course — especially if you’re a Senior Triathlete aged 60+. Here’s how it gets you race-ready:

🏊‍♂️ Swim Preparation: The two-lap swim requires sustained technique and efficiency in calm but variable conditions. The plan builds your aerobic base and swim biomechanics with drills that improve symmetry, catch, and energy use, plus smart integration with wearable tech for real-time feedback.

🚴‍♂️ Bike Endurance & Power: The flat, fast 180KM bike demands sustained power and smart pacing.
