Getting ready for the Full Distance Triathlon in Western Australia? With that calm ocean swim, a flat and fast coastal ride, and a scenic run along Geographe Bay, it’s a beautiful race—but also a big challenge. And if you’re over 60, you already know: it’s not about doing more, it’s about doing it smarter.
This 24-week training plan was built just for senior triathletes like you—athletes who want to go the distance while staying healthy, strong, and injury-free.

Before jumping in, make sure you’ve already got a steady base—swimming, biking, and running a few times a week for the past 10 to 12 weeks. This plan starts at 8 hours per week and builds to 16, so it’s best if your body’s already used to some regular movement.
