Plan Description

Get ready to perform your best at the Full Distance Triathlon Valdivia Chile with a training plan designed specifically for Masters athletes (40+) who want consistent progress and race-day confidence.

The swim takes you through the clear, cool 14°C waters of the Calle-Calle River. This plan helps you refine your swim technique and build endurance so you can navigate efficiently, conserve energy, and stay strong from start to finish.

The bike course covers 180 km over two loops through Valdivia’s beautiful countryside with mostly flat roads and some short hills. Using data-driven workouts that focus on power and pacing, you’ll develop the strength and stamina needed to maintain speed and handle the hills without losing momentum.

The marathon run crosses iconic bridges and finishes in Valdivia’s city center. With tempo runs, intervals, and strength training built into the plan, you’ll improve your endurance and running economy to tackle the 42.1 km comfortably and confidently.
