This 36-week, science-based training plan is designed specifically to meet the unique needs of Master athletes like you, combining endurance building with smart recovery to help you race stronger and smarter.

The Full Distance Triathlon Florida features a challenging two-loop swim around Russel-Fields Pier, a fast 112-mile bike course through Pine Log State Forest, and a flat 26.2-mile run along Front Beach Road. This plan prepares your body and mind to handle these demands with precision.

✔ Tailored for Masters Athletes (40+)
Recognizes age-related changes in recovery, muscle elasticity, and endurance. The plan balances progressive overload with sufficient recovery, reducing injury risk and overtraining.

✔ Foundational Endurance & Neuromuscular Efficiency
The first 12 weeks focus on building aerobic capacity and refining swim technique, essential for efficient, low-impact swimming in Florida’s ocean currents.

✔ Race-Specific Performance Development
The following 24 weeks increase volume and intensity with targeted bike and run workouts designed to optimize power output and pacing on the mostly flat bike and run courses.
