Preparing for the Full Distance Triathlon Portugal – Cascais? This race is a spectacular challenge—featuring a rolling 3.8 km swim in Cascais Bay, a stunning 180 km ride through the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park and Estoril Formula 1 Circuit, and a 42.2 km coastal run powered by cheering crowds at Marina de Cascais.

To succeed on this iconic course—especially as a triathlete aged 60 or older—you need a training plan that’s built for your body, your goals, and your race day.

This 44-week Full Distance Triathlon training plan is uniquely designed for athletes over 60. Whether you’re returning from a break or building your endurance from scratch, you’ll train smart and safely—with no prior base needed.
