This world-class race—featuring a clear Mediterranean swim, a fast, coastal bike ride, and a flat, crowd-lined marathon—demands a precise balance of endurance, strength, and recovery. Our 24-week Full Distance Triathlon Training Plan is built specifically to meet those demands while honoring the needs of the experienced senior athlete.

🔹 Prerequisite Base: Before starting the plan, it’s essential to have a solid base of endurance training to prepare your body for the demanding Full Distance Triathlon. You should be able to finish a half distance triathlon.

🌊 Swim Preparedness:
With a 3.8 km loop in open sea, comfort and confidence in the water are key.

✅ Aerobic sets for stamina in warm saltwater
✅ Open-water skills to prepare for Mediterranean conditions
