This 44-week Full Distance Triathlon Training Plan is specifically designed to help you race the unique demands of the Switzerland-Thun course — whether you're a seasoned age-grouper or taking on your first full distance challenge.

Train for the clear, calm waters of Lake Thun with open water swim simulations and technique-focused drills. Practice Australian exits to prepare for the two-loop format, while building cold water confidence for 18–22°C (64–72°F) conditions.

✅ Conquer the Elevation on the Bike
With ~2,000 meters (6,500 feet) of climbing, Thun’s bike leg isn’t just long — it’s relentless. Our plan builds your strength and stamina through progressive long rides, tempo intervals, and structured climbing workouts, all timed to peak your power right when you need it.

✅ Run Strong Through Thun
Flat, fast, and mentally demanding — the run requires focus. You’ll benefit from progressive long runs, race-pace simulation bricks, and off-road training to handle paved and gravel paths with confidence and control.
