Prepare to race strong and smart at the stunning Full Distance Triathlon Switzerland-Thun. This 36-week triathlon training plan is tailored for Senior Triathletes 60+, focusing on endurance, strength, and recovery designed to meet the unique needs of mature athletes.

🏊 SWIM – 3.8 KM | Lake Thun
Train for the clear, calm waters of Lake Thun with open-water drills and swim efficiency workouts to master the two-loop course and Australian exit. Wetsuit-friendly sessions prepare you for 18–22°C water.

🚴 BIKE – 180 KM | Countryside & Climbs
Build power and stamina for Thun’s 2,000 meters of elevation with hill intervals, long rides, and FTP-guided workouts. Gain confidence on flat sections and technical descents through rural landscapes.

🏃 RUN – 42.2 KM | Multi-Loop Marathon
Focus on endurance and pacing with aerobic runs, tempo workouts, and race-day simulations to tackle the mostly flat run course along Lake Thun’s shore and through the city.
