This race is flat, fast, and iconic—set against the stunning backdrop of the Alster lakes, the Reeperbahn, and historic Speicherstadt. Our 44-week training plan is built specifically for senior triathletes like you, designed to optimize your performance on race day while keeping your health, energy, and longevity front and center.

The Full Distance Triathlon Hamburg features a 3.8 km swim in calm, fresh waters averaging 70°F (21°C), a lightning-fast 179 km flat bike course through Hamburg’s vibrant cityscape and countryside, and a 42.2 km run along the scenic Alster with an average air temperature of 73°F (23°C).

Our plan prepares you to thrive on every leg of the course—whether you're aiming to finish strong or achieve a personal best.

Two-Phase Training System Tailored for Senior Athletes

Start fresh—even with zero recent training. Build aerobic strength, improve mobility, and ease your body into training with just 4–8 hours per week.

✅ 32-Week Full Distance Phase:
