Are you a seasoned triathlete aged 60 or older aiming to conquer the Full Distance Triathlon South Africa? The Senior Triathletes 60+ 44-Week Full Distance Training Plan is specifically designed for experienced athletes seeking peak performance—whether you're chasing a personal best or a podium finish.

This structured, data-driven program supports athletes returning to training or maintaining a strong foundation. No base mileage is required to start, and the plan methodically builds endurance, strength, and speed over time.

A Proven 44-Week Training System
This elite-level plan is divided into two key phases:

✅ 12-Week Base Phase – Establish endurance, refine technique, and develop strength with a 2:1 training cycle (2 weeks load, 1 week recovery). You’ll begin at just 4 hours per week, ramping up to 8 hours by Week 11.

✅ 32-Week Full Distance Phase – Focus on race-specific development. Weekly training starts at 7 hours and peaks at 15 hours, ensuring you're fully race-ready by the end.
