Are you ready to conquer the Full Distance Triathlon in The Woodlands, Texas? This is your opportunity to race in the prestigious North American Championship event, featuring a 2.4-mile swim in Lake Woodlands, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run through a vibrant, spectator-filled course. With challenging conditions including warm temperatures and exposure to sun and wind, success demands precise preparation.

Designed for competitive Master's athletes, this structured plan will guide you from start to finish, building endurance, strength, and speed for the challenges of the swim, bike, and run sections.

How This Plan Benefits Your Race Preparation: A Proven 44-Week System for Peak Performance

The program is divided into two key phases:

12-Week Base Phase: Build your foundation with endurance, technique, and strength. Gradually increase your training load, starting from 4 hours per week and peaking at 8 hours by Week 11. You'll develop the vital stamina needed for the 112-mile bike ride and the marathon-length run.

32-Week Full Distance Triathlon Phase: Focus on race-specific training. Begin with 7 hours per week, reaching up to 15 hours in peak weeks to ensure you’re fully prepared for race day.
