This Florida course is fast, flat, and unforgiving without precision. That’s where this 44-week advanced Full Distance Triathlon training plan comes in.
Built for elite age-groupers and seasoned competitors, this plan fine-tunes your strengths, sharpens your limiters, and aligns your peak with race day at Pier Park.
✅ 12-Week Foundation Phase (Build Aerobic Mastery)
Strategic base-building, peaking at 10 hours/week. Focus on high-efficiency aerobic conditioning and open-water-specific swim sets for handling Florida's ocean currents and possible riptides.
✅ 32-Week Progressive Build (Race-Specific Conditioning)
Structured 3:1 load-to-recovery format. From VO2 max intervals and long tempo bricks to aero-focused bike sessions, you'll target key systems for maximum speed and stamina across all three disciplines.
