Plan Description

The Full Distance Triathlon in California, held in Sacramento, offers an exciting and fast-paced race.

Swim: The 2.4-mile downriver swim begins in the American River near Township 9 Park, with athletes swimming into the Sacramento River, finishing near the Tower Bridge. The water temperature averages 65ยฐF (18ยฐC).

Bike: A flat and fast two-loop bike course takes athletes through Sacramentoโ€™s farm and wine country, showcasing the Central Valley's agricultural beauty. It's a perfect route for testing fitness and achieving personal bests.

Run: The flat, two-loop run course follows the scenic River Walk Trail and features iconic landmarks like the Tower Bridge and I Street Bridge. After reaching Discovery Park, athletes will retrace their steps before finishing with a loop around the California State Capitol.
